We are currently using excel to monitor list of our assets and the same time calculating our depreciation entries. Basically, we do all our entries related for fixed assets manually and book it to the GL.

We are thinking of using the FA Modules and we are still in 11i. I know that I need to come up with list such as cost, salvage value, accumulated depreciation etc..  We have  considerable number of assets and we don't want to use enter manually or data load it in FA. Is there any standard SQL loader that I can use? Or maybe an API.?
