Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. What are the drawbacks of using httpClusterServlet for OEM 12c?

The built-in load balancer in WLS using httpClusterServlet seems too good to be true.

What are the risks of using this servlet?

Does the servlet work if the admin server is offline?

Are there special considerations required for OEM 12c? I'll ask in that forum also.
