Multiple Ship to Address for a given account

Hello,

We have a requiremnent to store multiple ship to addresses for each account. The only way I could think of is using Custom Object to store ship to addresses and display in the related section of the Account. Is there any other way to do this? Can the Address/Shared address feature be helpful for this scenario?  As pe my understanding Sahred address is to share addresses between Objects like Account Contact etc. Is that right?
