Upgrading Tools - 9.1.0.4 to 9.1.3.1

I am planning to upgrade to Tools Release 9.1.3.1 from 9.1.0.4 and am wondering if their are special instructions to follow.  I notice for 9.1.2, there is a doc ID 1485619.1 that outlines some special instructions to follow when upgrading (example: install planner esu). If I'm upgrading to from 9.1.0.4 to 9.1.3.1, do I have to worry about any special instruction for a Tools Release between the two? Also, should I always apply the planner esu prior to upgrading a tools release?
