Applying ERP patches in VCP decentralised instance

 Hi Experts,

 

We got two instances ERP and VCP which is decentralised, planning to upgrade both ERP & VCP from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 (ERP) & 12.1.3.8 (VCP) respectively. As per Oracle technical experts suggestion after upgrade & applying RUP patches we ran Patch Wizard utility to find out if any high priority patches still pending to apply. Surprisingly Patch Wizard output listed nearly 800 patches to apply in both ERP & VCP instances.

 

Patch wizard output in VCP instance listed ERP (Inventory, Shipping, OM, and WMS)   patches even though we licensed for those modules. My question to forum is it necessary to apply ERP patches in VCP instance.
