Book Controls Current Period

Hi,

While creating a new FA Book and New FA Implementation, what should be my Current Period in Book Controls Option.?

We are doing Data Migration in the month of Mar 13 and Uploading the GL TB also for Mar13 from legacy, in such case should my Current period should be Mar13?
