How to Implement tha Project Approval Workflows

Hi,
We have Requirement for Project Approval Workflow.

i have Done the Below Steps
1. Enable the work flow check box at Project Type Level.
2. Enable the work flow check box at Status Level.
after done the setups i am creating one new project. but I can't able to Change the status and project manager also didn't find any workflow notification

i would like to know how to assign the Approval for this work flow process.
Kindly Provide me the further steps to Implements work flow.
