How to compelet or terminate ongoing appraisal in the expired performance management plan-last year?

Dears,

We have list of ongoing status employees appraisals in expired PMP for last year 2012, because their manager(supervisor) is resigned and left the oragnization before he complete thier appraisals.

What is the solution to complete these appraisals in the application?

 I know in release 12.1 we can update the PMP and extend its period, then login to the application and complete the ongoing appraisal.

But in release 12.0 this option is not there.

Do you know any work around for this.
