adstpall.sh vs clear Payment Process Request Data Collection Test stuck instances

Hello,

In an Oracle EBS R12.1.3 system the following issue is encountered : 8 Payment Process Request Data Collection Test stuck instances. The question is how to close these processes ?
From what I gathered the Payment Process Request Data Collection Test is a java program (IBYPPRDataCollectorWrapper.class).
Using adstpall.sh would also clear them ? Is it possible that these processes survive a bounce using adstpall.sh and  adstrtall.sh ? Is a  clearing the java cache required/indicated in between ?
