Open UI and Repository Change?

Hi all,

 upgrade from 8.1.1.7 to 8.1.1.9

According to: Best Practices: Deployment Guide for Siebel Open UI, HI and SI clients 8.1.1.9/8.2.2.2: Document 1499842.1 > Configuration > Configuration of Open UI > Importing Application Configuration (SIF files) it is necessary to recompile the .srf.

However, in the same document in > Configuration > Configuration of Open UI > Migrating SRF and SWT File it is written that it is not necessary to have another .srf.

Question:
- Do I need the new .srf file for OpenUI only and can I keep my old .srf file for none-OpenUI?
- Which repository changes are applied when installing REPPATCH\OpenUIBase_8119.zip and REPATCH\OpenUI_Mobile_8119.zip?
