ASCP/EBS Dual/Double Sourcing

We are on 11.5.10.2 and not using constraint based planning.

 

We have situation where we would like have a more automated approach with EBS/ASCP.

 

We have two suppliers, one overseas with lower price and 90 day lead time, and one with higher price but only 30 day lead time.

 

The ideal situation here would be if the 90 day supplier had a reschedule in to day 45, instead of recommending that exception, it would simply plan a release for the 30 day vendor at 45 days and then firm up at day 30; In essence allowing the 30 day vendor to handle variation between day 30 and day 90.
