12c agent stops monitoring beacuse of TOO_MANY_OPEN_FILES

I have 4 servers that have the 12c agent on them. The 2 app servers are fine. The 2 dataase servers are clustered and the agent stops monitoring on both the servers with a

TOO_MANY_OPEN_FILES error. I found some information about this, and I applied patch 6895422 to the OMS oracle_home, but the problem is still happening.

Has anyone else experienced this?
