Connectors to Commercial Compliance (PG&C) databases

We're interesting in interface Agile PG&C with standard commercial databases (i.e. Q Point Technologies, Eventure, Total Parts Plus).  I'm curious if anyone has experience with this type of interface.  For example, did you build the interface internally, did the commercial database company assist, did you use Oracle Consulting Services, or another services provider?
