How to setup feeder lines in Flow Manufacturing?

 User guide states that routing netwrk needs to be defined in order to perform feeder line synchronization.How s that done?Have a flow routing for the parent item.
Have a BOM for the parent item and in the operation sequence where the where the component is being used I have assigned the event sequence from parent assembly routing.

Routing for A
Op 10 Event 1/Event Seq 30
Op 20 Event 2/Event Seq 40

A (Parent item with Flow routing in Line A)
---B
---C (Feeder line item with Flow routing in Line C) Op seq assigned is 40 (which is the event sequence from Op 20. Op 20 is where the feeder line component is being consumed).
