Messages of family RTVReq are stuck in SIM integration_staging table

Hi,

Messages of family RTVReq are stuck in SIM integration_staging table due to the following error:

"Only PENDING StockReturnEvents may be CANCELED"

On analysing the RTVs ,it is seen the RTVs are all in cancelled status in RMS and SIM both.

Initial response was to delete such messages but that is not a permanent solution.

Is there a fix to this?

Going forward what can be the action item?
