New Approval Management for Purchasing in A92 - Email Interactively or in Batch Mode
The
Approvals Management system was rolled out in the A9.1 release of the
World software to monitor activity for the Address Book system, and to
allow for approval processing pertinent to additions, changes and
deletions within the Address Book system. As of the A9.2 release, the
functionality has been expanded to allow for managing approvals for Purchase Orders.
The new approvals system has many features but one area to note is how the system emails notifications.
The
interactive method of dispersing e-mails utilizes the IBM Send
Distribution functionality and is the same method used by the original
approvals functionality in the Procurement system.
