SBL-EAI-04376 Error when using a custom EAI Soap Webservice

We have developed a custom soap web service to access the event information from the event module of Siebel and we are getting the following error:
EAISiebAdpt EAISiebAdptErr 1 00001c50517f10fc:0 2013-04-30 10:38:29 [0] Method 'Execute' of business component 'eEvents Parent Event' (integration component 'eEvents Parent Event') returned the following error:
"An invalid assignment error has occurred.

Please try again or ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists.(SBL-DAT-00421)"(SBL-EAI-04376) (0x7501a5)

Does anyone has experience on this?
