IRC Geocode vacancy searches

We are wanting to use geocode searches (location/distance from) in IRC for external candidates. We operate in both the US and Canada.   However, we are finding there are many vacancies that do not appear in the search results when they actually should.  We have had an SR open for over four months and can't seem to get the bottom of the issue.  I have verified that the locations attached to the vacancy do have a geometry defined for them.  Is anyone else using geocode searches in IRC and experiecing similar issues?
