Where can I store and retrieve Text Messages in a database table ?

I have the need to store and retrieve a few text messages in V9.1 that are 100-500 characters in length for use in an email. I do remember using Flash Messages a long time ago in World but I haven't had this requirement in E1 until now. I can concatenate the message strings together.

I can use Processing Options to achieve this but there must be a standard method of storing messages in E1 without having to create a custom table or use Media Objects.
