11.5.10 AME iProc Req Approvals

I've skimmed through the documents referred to elsewhere on this topic, but have one basic question.

Assuming that I am correct, 11.5.10 AME only supports employee-supervisor / job

Does it support the equivalent non-AME functionality of Forward To = Hierarchy, i.e needs to be approved by all employees up the approval chain until it reaches someone with the required approval group assignment, regardless of how many levels this might be ?

My brief reading about AME seems to allow for (implicity) Forward To = Direct, or a fixed number of levels, but not the variable number of levels that can arise from Forward To = Hierarchy.
