Hi All,
I am trying to find out why the sga resizing is taking 5-10 minutes. And why sometimes that sga resizing causes application issues.

The "cursor: pin S wait on X" and "SGA: allocation forcing component growth" issues were not occurring prior to us implementing  _db_block_cache_protect =true,

Does anyone know if _db_block_cache_protect could cause sga resizing to take longer?
