OPatch missing from Fusion Middleare application installation

The documentation at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29597_01/doc.1111/e16793/opatch.htm indicates that OPatch should be installed with the Fusion Middleware application, and would be located in the ORACLE_HOME directory of the application. I cannot find the installation for the following products [version]:

1) Oracle Enterprise Repository [11.1.1.5.0]

2) Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition [10.1.3.4.1]

3) Oracle WebLogic [10.3.5]

When attempting to use the standalone version of OPatch, OPatch indicates that "Oracle Home Inventory : n/a", and does not detect the installation of the products listed above. Is there documentation for installing the standalone version of OPatch, or documentation for installing OPatch with the product installations above?
