Need details about clusterware alert logs

Hello Gurus,

Env. Details,

GI, ASM and Database: 11.2.0.3

2 node RAC

RHEL 5.0

I want to understand reading clusterware alert logs. What to look in the clusterware alert logs for proactive purpose.  Any reference/link which explains critical errors that would be great help.
