Can anyone explain the reason why Multiple Job Entry has disapeared from former JDE World?
In JDE World software, there was a program P060118 that would allow for an employee to enter multiple jobs with corresponding multiple positions, which allowed for a primary job in F060118 and optional additional secondary jobs.
I have a client on EnterpriseOne version 9.1 who would have a need to define several job types and corresponding Position IDs for some employees in the organization and I have noticed that the architecture of F060118 has retained properties from the old JDE World version athough this functionality exists no longer in EnterpriseOne 9.1.
I was wondering whether we could use F060118 to store primary and secondary job types and corresponding position IDs like this was possible with World and worst case scenario since P060118 no longer exists, create a P55060118 like application program to maintain F060118 with both primary and secondary jobs. But since the client uses the Position Control, I wanted to check what the impact of maintaining F060118 with multiple jobs could be to ensure no adverse impact would occur. I guess my question is more like the general idea behind JDE dropping the Multiple Jobs functionality between World and EnterpriseOne;
