Ability to edit Custom Fiscal Calendar years previous to current years

We had Oracle support change out Calendar type from a Standard Calendar to a Custom Fiscal Calendar in our staging environment.After this was complete and the ETL was run, we went into the Fiscal Calendar settings to configure the Calendar to match the
Fiscal Calendar of the Company.  We were able to edit the current year and all years moving forward, but are Not able to configure (edit) years
previous to current year.

As a work around I have created report filters for previous years data and this seems to work, but not a fun task. 

Any report filter suggestions or experience with this would be great as I will need to do this in Production as well.
