Revenue Reporting

Hi,

We are in the process of implementing Hyperion Planning .

One of the component is Revenue reporting.

There are several sources from where data retrieved and put it in one excel.There are around 100 columns in the excel and most of columns are still in use for the out put used by different stake holders.All are manual now.

The no of lines in the excel is around 200000.

In Hyperion Planning we have 20 dimensions.

To put it in Hyperion planning,the consultant suggested these many columns cannot be accomodated since we have only 20 dimensions.

Hence the suggested design is to put all the data directly in the database and from there all the reports will be retrieved through web analysis.
