Can we create a Sales Order on holiday (ie when Calender is defined as holiday)

Hi, 
If the calender has a day blocked as a holiday (non-working day) will the user will be able to enter a Sales Order for that date or will JDE prevent entry of sales order for the date because calender is marked as non working day?.

If yes, is there any impact in the system?
