Error in Cycle Count

 HI ,
while doing the cycle count i am getting the below error

lstatus:E
message :Count request processed without errors.
message :The specified item is not associated with this cycle count.
V_ERROR_CODE: 2
V_ERROR_MSG: Count request processed without errors. The specified item is not associated with this cycle count. 

and i am using the API: mtl_cceoi_action_pub.import_count.request

and the version is R12

any thing missing from my side
