Mass Allocation Journal Performance 11i

Hi all,

 

We have some performance issues with some of our MassAllocation journals.

 

We operate on a 4-4-5 week period basis and the affected journals are created at the end of the each period. The journals which run at the end of the period for which there is 4 weeks works fine. The problem is the journals which run at the end of the 5 week period.

 

The most obvious thing would be the extra data due to the extra week. However the time taken to run this MassAllocation process is significantly longer than that of the 4 week one. It suggests that something else is at play here.
