Deleting data to tape with RMAN

 Hello dear colleagues:

We now dabbling in the use of RMAN. Pertaining to a database backup to tape using Symantec Netbackup, it is very important to maintain a limit of bytes backed up.
However because they have been testing, becomes necessary to delete some backups on tape.

I can support telling me some references whereby feasible with RMAN deletion, 

and wonder if deletion is possible with RMAN?
