I need to calculate the duration of a discrete job how can I do that?

for example the discrete job has been created on 2 may 2013 11:00;00

the job actually completed on may 3 2013 15:30

to day I need to complete the job on the system can I enter the complete date in the past as 3 may 2013 15;30?

in this I will be able to calculate the duration of the job
