Cannot cancel lines

Hi All,

We are running into this recurring issue where in we are not able to cancel Sales Order lines in supply eligible status. The process messages window displays: You cannot update warehouse because: This is an ATO item.

I know we have Processing rules playing their part here, but is there a way we can bypass this error?  A search on MOS yielded no results.
