Best practice for XA and Oracle RAC

Dear All,
We have issue with XA transaction in Oracle RAC which causing performance degradation as a whole system. We have done investigation and ended up to recommend best practice of XA transaction and Oracle RAC as reference in following document. This document recommends to use DTP service in Oracle RAC.


Implementing this best practice required us to change WebLogic data source URL. Current WebLogic environment consist of 40 domains, only one server (which is AdminServer) instance per domain.
Customer concerns about long-term impact that probably happen after implement this practice.

Is there any reference or insight about side effect when using DTP service?
