Removing CPU Cores from host - Anything need to be done in Oracle?

Hi Everyone,
I would like to ask for some advice on whether there is something that needs to be configured for removing cores from the database host. I have gone through a lot of parameters that may have something configured for the CPU, but I don't see any. Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track, or guide me in the right direction?
