Mass Additions Create (APMACR) is incompatible with self - removing incompatibility in R12.1.3?

Hi,

Currently Mass Additions Create (concurrent program short name = APMACR) is incompatible with itself which forces the program to run serially, first-in-first-out.  We currently have 27 corporate books where we need to run Mass Additions Create, and some take a long time to complete where those AP orgs have higher data volumes.  If Mass Additions Create could run in parallel, it would help us to compress our month-end close cycle by a day or more.  

Has anyone had success running Mass Additions Create with the incompatibility removed in R12.1.3?  Oracle Support has stated in an SR that the program must remain incompatible with its self, but I'd like to know if anyone has done this in R12 and if so were there any data corruptions or other negative results?  We upgraded from 11i to R12, and the incompatibility looks to have existed back in 11i.
