ORA-24912 cannot resolve IP address from host only shows up on continous query subscription, not on

Hello,

Platform: Linux RedHat

Oracle Database Server ; 11.2.0.3 patch installed, RAC with ASM

Oracle Client Server: 11.2.0.3 patch installed

We have two backup servers that were patched with the Oracle Client Server 11.2.0.3. The first Oracle client server patched successfully and ran a continuous Query subscription without error. However the second Oracle client server patch installed successfully but how when running the continuous Query subscription it gets the A-24912 error. Can connect successfully outside of the software to the database without any issues and can ping. The continuous query subscription worked prior to the patch and works after the patch was deinstalled. The database that the second server is connecting to has the 11.2.0.3 patch installed.
