changes to workflow campaign inclusion list after launch

Can a dynamic inclusion list for a workflow campaign be modified post launch?  I would like to expand the criteria of the list to include additional filters, without removing/restarting people that are already in progress in the campaign, but wasn't sure if this would have any negative impact on the campaign.  Thanks!
