PROACTIVE HOWTO How to solve .ldt files failing (FNDLOAD) during patch?

Created this thread to provide the steps needed to solve .ldt failing during patch.

Everybody is welcome to input new advises.

In patch log you will see errors like:

FAILED: file <filename>.ldt on worker ....

In adworker log you will see:
FNDLOAD APPS/***** 0 Y UPLOAD @PRODUCT:patch/115/import/<lct_file>.lct   @PRODUCT:patch/115/import/US/<filename>.ldt -
Connecting to APPS......Connected successfully.
Calling FNDLOAD function.
Returned from FNDLOAD function.
Log file: apps_st/appl/admin/<SID>/log/US_<filename>_ldt.log
Error calling FNDLOAD function.
