Changing the existing functional currency (Pseudo functional currency) before r12 Upgrade

We are looking for a case study which can help us removing Psuedo functional currency in 11i GL & to start using R12 GL provided feature for reporting of functional currency balances.

 

Below are the details of requirement -

 

Requirement is we are  currently using Oracle 11i GL as their accounting solution and planning on upgrading to R12.

 

Psuedo Currenty (as Pain Point): Client is using Psuedo functional currency (say USX) to support functional currency balance reporting, which has complicated many things as actual functional currency (say USD) is treated as non-functional.

 

Requirement: To get rid of the pseudo functional currency and utilize actual currency USD as functional currency.
