Check Printing - MICR Font Woes

We recently purchased a new check printer (HP 400dn with Troy MICR functionality) in order to print 150-200 checks per month in-house. Most of our check printing is outsourced but we do have occasion to print something here. Working with our bank, I'm having a heck of a time to getting our checks using the new printer to fit their 'standards'. They currently accept checks generated on our old printer that have all the flaws they're telling me I need to correct before they can approve checks printed on the new printer. That's a story for a different day.

My main issue now - I've corrected the others - is with the MICR font. I'm told I need font E-13B (rather than GnuMICR). I've contacted Troy and they've provided me with E-13B TrueType font that I have working in Windows and have updated the check template with. I've loaded the updated template into Oracle, added font E-13B to 'Font Files', added the font to the only 'Font Mapping' that we have and ensured that 'FO Processing' under 'Configuration' in XML Publisher responsibility is indeed using our font mapping set.

Howdy, Stranger!
