Is it recommended to apply Windows Server security patches for CCA?

 In our production environment where CCA is running since 2010, we have never applied latest OS security patches to avoid potential hiccups. What is the best practice and recommendation by Oracle? Is there a compliant list of which KB supported?Thanks.
