How to generate Forecast using Remaining Plan method

Hi,

I want to generate a forecast using the Remaining Plan method, basically determining the ETC as Budget - Actuals.

I entered actuals for the project and defined the Resource Class 'People' and the Resources assigned to the Planning Resource List of the Projects with the method 'Remaining Plan', however when I generate the Forecast is not taking in consideration the actuals and is giving me the total budget amounts.

I tried entering a % Complete for the project and generating the forecast and the ETC was calculated as Budget - % completed.

Is there any option that I need to setup to ensure that the Forecast is generated with the Remaining Plan method? If yes, where I need to go to setup this option?
