Auto attribute update on modification Quote in eConfigurator.

 Hi i have a problem with EConfigurator and attributes values. I have an Attribute with a value ( different then 0) on Root level of Asset. When i create a modification Quote for that asset Siebel automaticaly updates value of the attribute on root product in Quote and it annouses this in message box on eConfigurator:

Path: -- Action: Update Product Action Code = Update
Path: Product>Commitment Level -- Action: Update Attribute Action Code = Update Value = 0

Even if i reset the Value of Commitment level attribute to something and save changes the next entrace to configurator resets thev value. 
Is there any way to turn of that auto update of attribute on modification Quote ?
