Hosts Having Issue Discovering Devices Across Brocade Fibre Channel Routing (FCR)after a FOS upgrade

A Oracle Service Request (SR) was recently created by a customer regarding issues encountered accessing hosts over Brocade Fibre Channel Routing (FCR) after the Brocade Fibre Channel (FC) Switch Fabric Operating System (FOS) version was upgraded to 6.4.3.

It was determine to be caused by:

Brocade analysis identified issue is due to Brocade Defect 429695


With a resolution as follows:

Install special patch provided by Brocade to fix issue in current version of FOS

or

Wait for fix to be incorporated into a future FOS version

 

To get special Brocade patch open a Oracle Service Request (SR), and provide switch support data for analysis.
