Error when running root.sh on 10g cluster installation

Hi all,

I got the following errors when running root.sh during oracle cluster 10.2.0.1 installation on Linux RHEL 5.

All the pre-requirements look correct. Is anybody familiar with this error?

From runInstaller:

[root]# ./root.sh
Checking to see if Oracle CRS stack is already configured

Setting the permissions on OCR backup directory
Setting up NS directories
Failed to upgrade Oracle Cluster Registry configuration

From cluster log files:
