Sales Order stuck in the Interface table

Dear All,

We have a sales order that is  in closed in the sales order form but not invoice has been generated for the order. The sales order lines are stuck in the interface table with an error that sales "No Open GL date defined for this Transaction..." But when I try to show the GL date field in the Interface table, no dates are defined and the system wont let me add a GL date.
