Searching files in Gnome File Manager

I'd like to use the Search feature of the the Gnome File Manager (Searching Files).
If, for example, I open my Documents folder, press Ctrl+F, and type a search filter, it's not working.
I couldn't also understand how to save my searches.

What's the expected format of the search filter or what's wrong?
