Hi,
We have one of our our production db running on Oracle 10.2.0.4 RAC (two node) on RHEL5 system.
This production db is of around 1.5TB and is a mission critical 24/7 db.
We are taking full RMAN backups every day.The full backups are taking about 6 hours or more.
We have users in europe and also in California and they are getting affected with this RMAN fullbackup.
When the RMAN full backup is running from 8:00PM EST to 2:00AM (next day), the users in europe (GMT) are complaining about the slow performance.
