NAME1, CITY and EMAILID field length increase - impacts
Hi,We are planning to implement PeopleSoft Financials systems for a client who currently runs on Salesforce. Following are some of the road blocks faced.
1. Customer name - NAME1 field in PS is 40 char but in the client system the Customer name can be upto 255 char. What are the impacts of increasing the NAME1's default field length? Even if I plan to split the name into NAME1, NAME2 and NAME3 fields available in PS, how can I do it logically?
2. Contact name - Contact name in PS is 40 char. But there are possibilities that a full name of a Contact can exceed 40 char.
