ADI Mass Upload Expense Assets

I created seven assets to upload into my Expense book. I marked (flagged) all of my selected rows and checked the "Creat Assets Now (POST) box.  They went into Oracle but did not post I got an error, which was not reader/user friendly.  I went to Post Mass Additions to do in manually and still can not get them to post.  I tried to re-upload the file and it says the asset number is not unique.

I decided to delete that Mass addition batch and start over with a different series of asset number and got the same problem.  I went back into Prepare Mass addition and I see the assets under merged, but cant seem to delete anything.  I came across something like this several years ago but can't figure it out.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
